Dog Clipart

A direct descendant of the wolves that once roamed Europe, the domestic dog is closely related to wolves, coyotes, foxes, and jackals. Dogs have been used to hunt for food, herd animals, guard livestock and property, destroy rats, sleds, perform rescues, and apprehend lawbreakers. Today trained dogs are used to alert deaf people to common household sounds, such as the ringing telephone or doorbells. Dogs have been considered “mans best friend” because of their usefulness and ability to develop a relationship with their owner.
